Weddings on the Kona Salt Farm
Nestled along the beautiful shoreline of Keahole Point lays the Kona Salt Far, the only working salt farm on Hawaii Island. Our 7-acre oceanfront site boasts gorgeous ocean views and breathtaking sunsets. The venue is charming and rustic with authentic Hawaiian energy and natural elements surrounding it.
Salt in Hawaiian Culture has deep significance, both spiritually and practically. It is used traditionally in ceremonial blessings and to preserve. The Hawaiian Word for Salt is Pa’akai, literally solidified ocean water. A wedding on the Kona Salt Farm brings together beautiful traditions of the past and new ones a journey together in marriage creates. Our site is unique and can accommodate intimate and larger gatherings and lets you create a memorable and unique ceremony and celebration.
We rent the Salt Farm simply as venue space. We are one of the more affordable oceanfront venues and you have the flexibility to create your own event with any caterer, musician, décor, food truck and more. We also offer bar and liquor packages as well as have a list of recommended vendor partners.
